( SF $40) (Ansari 2023) J245A (Waves of Joy x Whale Tails] 28" scape, 6.5" flower, EMRe, Sev. misty rose pink, pattern eye with varying bands of charcoal, lavender, raspberry, ghost blue, and violet with a feathered cranberry edge and violet veins; lightly accented midribs, esp. at throat; green to yellow throat. BC15 BR3. I found "Goluptious" when looking at translations for "Guzel." It is said to mean "delightful, magnificent, splendid" derived either as humorous slang or a corruption of the word voluptuous. This is a big lovely flower on a hearty scape, slow to increase. Fertile both ways. Hardy in Maine, zone 4.  |
