(SF$25) (Ansari 2021) L619C (Limitless Wonder x Waves of Joy) This daylily sometimes has pleated petals, mystifying in itself, but it's the exotic eye with everything going on in it that is the mystery I get caught up in. It has steadily had pattern here with lots of color, one of my hybridizing goals. Tet, Mid Season, reblooms twice here, Sev, 27" scape, 5.5" flower. Soft peach petals, mystifying pattern eye with charcoal, blues, lavender, violet, violet veins, outlined magenta; raised midribs. Very green throat. Lightly ruffled violet picotée edge, outlined white. Fertile. BC 14, BR2. Photos are mine; sib was hardiness tested in Maine. |
