Click the play button to hear the song "Rumi Blues" from which this daylily takes its name. I love the song, composed by Allaudin Mathieu, and sung by the late Bob Maize, may God bless him, with the Sufi Choir in 1973. My husband, Huzur, was playing clarinet. It's available through http://coldmountainmusic.com, The Sufi Choir ("The Blue Album," 1973) (played here with permission). Another of my daylily introductions, For the Love of God, takes its name from the refrain. Photo in the middle (3rd photo) and the last photo (5th) by Kenny Minder, in Kentucky, used with permission. Other photos are mine.
